Bay House Weekend
This week my family and I visited THE bay house! A little back story for those who don't know- My dad’s parents had this build last year. They had a piece of land what seems like forever near Cape Carancahua. Finally, they decided to build a house on it! It was truly a labor of family love. My uncle had a hand in the architecture, my two cousins built an outdoor patio area (Check out their company, Charush Construction), and my amazingly talented mother was basically their own personal interior decorator for this project. And man. She did such an amazing job! I helped any time I could. I lived for the MANY trips to pick out floors and tile. And I swear I think now I have been to Home Goods about 100 times! I’m not even sad about it. Who doesn't love that place?!
Every inch of the house is covered in white with touches of turquoise. You automatically feel relaxed when you step inside! While this place is my grandparent's, when they aren’t staying there, they will let other family members have a little turn. And since my other sweet grandmother is visiting from North Carolina, we thought we’d take her to stay by the Texas coast for a few days! We had the best time. So without further adeu, here’s a few pretty moments of our trip!
The house above is actually our neighbor's house. (It is empty and for sale!!) I am not quite sure why I didn't snap a few shots of the exterior of our house, but oh well! Enjoy this yellow beauty!
Fun Fact: Cody took the picture that is in the above image! My Mimi thought it fit the house theme perfectly, so she had it printed, framed and used as decor!
iPhone quality pictures, people. Did you really go on vacation if you didn't snap a few silly selfies with your siblings?! I think not. PS- Jake, what are you doing?...
